Richard Ivey - Hong Kong

Team Builder

Well the first two weeks of my MBA were a challenge to say the least. The class is made up of 43 individuals.  There are 9 women and obvious 34 men. The age range is from 29 till I am guessing late 50's with an average age of 38 (I just make it under that curve). Interesting I think all the women are younger than the average.  Ivey is very "Team" based so everyday we would be in different teams speaking about the cases and what are the potential outcomes.

This is a great way to meet and get to know 42 people in a short time.  The team building really happened when we spent a day at an obstacle course, we were pushed to our physical limits and then some. The tasks given to us really required we work as a team, and I think many friendships were forged on that day. One of the best was when the group was blindfolded and handed different shapes and you had to figure out what shapes were missing.
